Savior in New Testament

Considering the issue of Jesus Christ's returning in the New Testament and the fundamental differences of the world after his reappearances, there is an interesting image of world's savior and the utopia. This image contains three concepts of God, son of God, and Son of Human concurrently. Some times we can see the presence of son of human accompanying the son of God, so it seems that these two concepts are not the same or one of them is not the incarnation of God to Jesus. The following is a review of some of the verses in this context.

Jesus said to them, ''Truly I tell you, at the renewal of all things, when the son of Man is seated on the throne of his glory, you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses or brothers or fathers or mothers children or fields, for my name's sake, will receive a hundredfold, and will inherit eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first". Mathew, chapter19, verses 28 – 30.

Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purpose of heart. Then each will receive commendation from God. The first Letter of Paul to the Corinthians, chapter4, verses 5.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on the there is reserved for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. The Second Letter of Paul to Timothy chapter 4, verses 7-8.

I am coming soon; hold fast to what you have, so that no one may seize your crown. The Revelation to John, chapter 3, verses 11.

Loving hearts

From the beginning, human being has always felt a familiar love in his heart. In his essence, the fair and humble human knows that there is a loving and knowing God who has created existence. Therefore from the bottom of his heart, human has been always been curious about that unique God. Actually the more human knowledge progresses and he discovers and observes the magnificent, unbelievable and well-managed harmony in the world of beings, the more curios and astonished humans becomes.

The bright-minded twenty century human knows that God is a real and unique phenomenon and it is not correct to imagine God any way human wishes. In any manner that God is imagined -as a statue, an animal, a human or only a thought inside the human brain- that itself is just a created phenomenon, not the creator. The intelligent human realizes that his brain, with all its powers is also limited and created and it cannot comprehend the essence of the unlimited creator. The lovely God has created certain perfect and beloved humans who, just like mirrors, manifest God's love, power, knowledge, beauty and…such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Mohammad (P.B.U.T). Considering all these facts, in order to get close to the one and only loving and benevolent Almighty, the wise human has come to realize that he must learn from the blessed chosen ones, whose knowledge, benevolence, power, and love are heavenly bestowed.

All Divine Prophets are messengers from the Compassionate and Merciful God. While the holy prophets are humans and feel every human feeling but their divinely bestowed blessings provide them with wisdom and insight to be infallible and perfect. Their words are the words of God, and their commands are His command. All their divine teachings are based upon principles of monotheism and justice. The major differences observed in their teachings, as presented today, do not stem from the prophets' differences, because they were all chosen from the same God, rather these differences have roots in politics, history and humans' wrong doings which some of those actions and events would be briefly mentioned.

History indicates that no Gospel was ever written while Jesus Christ, (P.B.U.H) was living on this earth. In the fourth century A.D., one hundred and twenty eight Gospels -written years after Christ by various writers and under the influence of dominant cultures and civilizations of the time and with significantly different texts -were available and at that time i.e. centuries after Christ, the current four Gospels of the new testament were chosen by Romans who, based on ancient Greek and Roman cultures, used to worship many imaginary gods. History also shows that for instance, the concept of Trinity was originated by Paul not by Jesus. Based on these mentioned facts and many other historical documents unfortunately the original heavenly words of Jesus Christ (P.B.U.H) have not been saved. History verifies that similar circumstances surrounded the Old Testament. It is to be regretted that the words of prophets sent to children of Israel were distorted this way.

Words of other prophets such as Zoroaster (P.B.U.H) who was sent to Persians had a similar faith. His words during over twenty four hundred years ago were set on fire by the conquerors and later after one thousand years delay, his words were rewritten during the Saasaany Dynasty of Persians. Those one thousand years were more than enough time for his teachings to be changed and distorted which in this brief writing we do not cover the details and refer readers to historical documents.

Qur'an, the holy book of Muslims, was written at the time of the Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H & H.P) and in itself promises that Qur'an shall be protected from distortions; this divine promise has already been fulfilled and all Muslims around the world have been reading the same Qur'an for over one thousand and four hundred years. Qur'an repeatedly commands the faithful to absolutely obey the Prophet and it considers the infallible prophet's obedience the same as God's obedience and it states that the prophet is the one to teach, explain and clarify the Qur'an to people. But after the Prophet some people disobeyed God and the Prophet and therefore the government of Muslims was taken over by other than the Prophet's God-chosen successors. The Prophet's words repeatedly confirmed the rightfulness of the Prophet's infallible Successors and history indicates that the government of Muslims after the Prophet declared the writing of the Prophet's words as unlawful. For about one hundred years no one was allowed to write the Prophet's words which, according to Qur'an, are nothing but divine revelations! Words which are available in the non-Shi'ah Islamic sources as the Prophet's words were written after that delay and under the influence and control of governments and politicians. As the result, many interpretations of Qur'an and definitions of the path to salvation were created by mankind i.e. history repeated itself and the religion of God was once again distorted.

It is only the Shi'ah who with no delay, thru the Prophet's taught teachings and divine guidance of twelve infallible god chosen executors known as Imams after the Prophet through out the ages have written and saved the Prophet's words i.e. the genuine divine teachings which lead human kind to everlasting salvation and blissfulness (The Shi'ah have experienced many persecutions, tortures and martyrdoms in this Divine cause).

although the words of God has been changed throughout history for many reasons but traces of the truth can still be found in many writings such as certain statements in the Book of Genesis, Book of Deuteronomy, Gospel of John and… .

The good news about appearance of the final holy (Prophet Mohammad), in the mount Paran area -the ruler of the world who is not from the descendants of Prophet Jacob (Israel) (P.B.U.H)- and many more undeniable signs regarding him were given by previous divine prophets. It is vital to know that all previous holy prophets prophesized that in the last days of the world a Savior shall return and save the world from the darkness of oppression and Corruption. Zoroastrians call him the Soshiaans, Jews expect the Messiah, Christians talk about the second coming of Jesus Christ along with the Son of Man, Muslims anticipate Mahdy, and the Shi'ah exactly introduce Mahdy. Mahdy is the Twelfth Divine Successor (Imam) of the final Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H & H.P) who is alive and awaiting God's command to emerge. Finally with the emergence of the twelfth Imam and the second coming of Jesus (P.B.U.H) added impurities to the priceless treasure of divine teachings shall be purified and history shall witness the most magnificent and beautiful moments of human life; as Qur'an promises, at the end the earth shall belong to the most righteous and virtuous servants of God. Let us pray for that time… .
